ACG Pampac cartonator K120-i wins Pacmachine Award 2010
The results of the Pacmachine 2010 National Awards for Excellence in Packaging were announced at the India Pack 2010 forum on 1st October, 2010. The horizontal intermittent cartoner model from ACG Pampac, K 120 i was declared the winner in the category of Innovative Development in Packaging Machinery.
ACG Pampac has, as have all the other group companies of ACG Worldwide, remained at the forefront of innovation and providing customized solutions to the global pharma industry. In synergy with barrier packaging films from ACG Pharmapack and camera based inspection systems from ACG Inspection, the trio is capable of providing, probably, the most formidable and value added integrated Packaging Solutions.
The K 120 i was launched at the PMec show in India in December 2009. The upgraded version of this machine from ACG Pampac will be on display at the PMec India show in December 2010 at Mumbai.
ACG opens Brazil office
ACG worldwide recently inaugurated its Brazil office. This comes in close succession to the launch of their US branch offices, ACG North America last month.
With the formation of ACG do Brazil, the company is set to increase its penetration into the South American pharma market with world class hard capsules, barrier packaging films and pharmaceutical equipment.
The encapsulation, tabletting and blister-cartoning machine business is represented by Almapal who will continue to partner ACG with sales and service support.
